The beginning of Romatrix system traces back to 2003, a period corresponding to my role as a controller at EKR Elektrokontakt Romania. Over the past 21 years, it has been meticulously customized and deployed across all subsidiaries within the group.

The system was initially developed for production control to supply essential data for group reporting. Due to imperative of optimal cost and income control, it was subsequently expanded to encompass accounting, human resources, quality, logistics, and maintenance departments.

EKR Elektrokontakt Romania company is part of Nexans Autoelectric Group. The main activity of the company is wire harnesses production for the automotive industry.
General description of the job:
1. Oversee the activities of corporate accounting department for accurate and timely preparation of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.

2. Create, implement and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.

3. Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his financial needs.

4. Participate in wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
5. Communicate with co-workers and management in a courteous and professional manner.

6. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
7. Implementing the controlling standards, systems and reporting package in the new plants of the Group.

8. Handled ad-hoc requests from corporate finance, providing detailed insights into plants performance and strategic initiatives.

In order to ensure the necessary information in a accurate and proper form for the Group Reporting package it was necessary profound changes and improvements of the software systems used by production, accounting and Human Resources departments:
A. Creating the production & quality management system - design, programming and implementation (2003 - 2012). The system is still in continue development process.
B. Fixed assets management software - design, programming and implementation (2006-2007)
C. Human Resources management and salaries calculation software - design, programming and implementation (2007 - 2012)
D. Spare parts management software - design, programming and implementation (2005 - 2007)
E. Raw materials management software - design, programming and implementation (2007 - 2008)

SC Santana Lemn was a private company with Italian capital, with as object of activity the processing and sale of wood material both in the country and abroad.

Responsibilities:
- financial accounting (registration of accounting documents, fixed assets depreciation calculation, preparation of operations journals, monthly balances and balance sheets);
- payroll calculation and preparation of salaries statements;
- preparation of monthly declarations for the contributions to social security, unemployment and health.
