As a senior multi domain engineer, I have been experiencing many technical domains such as Software Development, Network Infrastructure Development, Network Administration, Cash Processing and Payment equipment and technologies.

In Area Manager role for few years, all the experience above, merged with Team Leading, Project Management, Communication Skills and Training Procedures. This led me to choose DevOps as next challenge, for which I am here today.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in Endava, besides being assigned to a project, I focused mostly on improving myself on both technical and non-technical skills. That is why I got involved in increasing DevOps team in Pitesti DU by sustaining technical interviews for new-joiners, creating a DevOps community, knowledge transfers through mentorship programs and pass-it-on sessions, organizing Application Management Week event in Pitesti DU. All these actions had the purpose of making people aware of Application Management and DevOps disciplines and passing assessment for becoming a Career Coach for 7 colleagues.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in Cognizant, besides being assigned to a project, I got involved in DevOps Community improvement as a Community Influencer. That allowed me to organize together with a few more team mates, a monthly event (DevOps Community Day) that takes place both onsite and online, with the purpose of bonding the DevOps Community. Technical presentation, Question sessions, Kahoot and games challenges have the purpose that for at least one day, most of our DevOps colleagues share knowledge, help others and build team connections.
