Involved from the early stages of testing and working closely with developers on a Machine translation platform based on microservices and using cutting edge technologies (Apache Kafka, Zookeper, Docker, Mesos, Marathon etc). My contributions and responsibilities:

- maintain, develop and improve an API automation framework (Java 8, Spring, Maven, TestNG)

- configure CI pipelines and workflows in Jenkins to deploy platform's components, run tests, measure code coverage and analyzing code for the platform's modules, using both Maven and Gradle

- add constantly tests to cover new API endpoints

- creating a Java testing framework using Selenium Webdriver for UI testing

- investigate and implement solutions for running cross browser tests (Zalenium, cloud based solutions for cross browser testing)

Working on low level components used by various SDL products (i.e. SDL Trados Studio), written in .Net and designed to parse different document types and process content. My responsibilities were to cover all types of testing required for these complex components - whitebox testing, performance, integration with the software products where they were used. Technologies used:

- .Net for specific acceptance and unit tests focused on various data entries

- .Net for complex integration tests between components

- Batch scripts to collect and process files needed for test data

- Visual Studio for automated tests, continuous integration and code coverage, load capabilities for load tests.

- SoapUi for integration testing with other java services in other SDL products

Testing a complex webapp designed to provide a job management system. Technologies used: Selenium RC and Webdriver - Java framework, Jmeter.

Personal contributions: enhanced existing framework using SeleniumRC; designed a new framework using Webdriver; created functional tests complementary to GUI tests, using Jmeter; integrated Selenium & Jmeter tests with Jenkins to ensure a proper continuous integration environment; team lead role.

The responsibilities were to develop and improve an internal testing framework, ensure the proper running of the tests.
