As a Junior Software Engineer in Test, I:

• Design and develop robust and scalable automated test scripts;

As a buyer within the Emerson Automation Solutions department, I was the single point of contact for the German suppliers in my portfolio, maintaining close collaboration with these in order to ensure the on-time delivery of all items that were planned to go into production at the manufacturing facility in Weßling, Germany

• Released purchase orders based on system (MRP) messages and on requisitions (back-to-back orders) and send these to the corresponding supplier
• Checked open PO report to identify overdue deliveries and missing order acknowledgements and contact suppliers
• Checked content of order acknowledgments and take appropriate actions to resolve materials issues (price, quantity, specification, and delivery dates) and update promised date as well as material planning
• Proactively informed stakeholders in case of delays or stock outs;
• Clarified logged invoices;

As a Customer Support Representative, I provided support for the customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, starting from pre-sales inquiries up to Tier 1 technical support on home automation systems, including smart thermostats, wireless speakers, smart light bulbs and more. My main responsibilities were:

• Acting as a first point of contact for customers from the DACH region via phone, chat or e-mail
• Responding to all customer enquires within given timescales, efficiently and effectively
• Developing and maintaining a full technical knowledge of client products and services
