Volunteering

My commitment to social responsibility began in 2016, when I took on the role of coordinating the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities at the company I worked for. This experience ignited a passion for giving back, leading me to volunteer in various social projects.

In 2020, I volunteered in the G4D-DSPB project, a call center initiative designed to manage the COVID-19 pandemic response for the Bucharest Public Health Directorate. The project's main objective was to provide support and information to those affected by the virus, including people who were infected or in direct contact with infected individuals. We worked to implement strategies to reduce the spread of the virus while giving the DSP teams the necessary time to process requests and make critical decisions.

As part of this project, I learned the value of collaboration and compassion: "We learned that where an open heart meets a similar mind, the situation will improve. And we have continued to learn to be extremely grateful for the generosity of those who give time, energy, and knowledge for the good of all." – G4D

In 2022, I was honored to be part of the team that founded and managed the Solidarity Call Center, which provided essential assistance to Ukrainian citizens arriving in Romania in the wake of the war. This initiative allowed me to hone my problem-solving and communication skills while supporting those in need during a global crisis.

More recently, in 2024, I became a founding member of the MEA Association (MEDIU EDUCAȚIE ACTIVISM). This organization was established to promote civic engagement, education, human rights, environmental protection, and the responsible use of technology. Through my involvement, I hope to be able to successfully advocate for causes such as social responsibility and the well-being of vulnerable populations while encouraging both individual and collective action to drive positive change.
