• Coordinating the relationship between Prototype department and Suppliers for the components that I supervise
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with suppliers
• Placing orders to suppliers based on the monthly planning needs
• Follow up weekly with suppliers for the open orders
• Monitoring the flow of the orders until the components are in stock
• Supporting the custom responsible for international imports and exports
• Supervising the communication between suppliers and quality department in terms of nonconformity of the components
• Verifying the match of the offer from the suppliers and the allocated budget of the project, in case of mismatch I negotiate to be aligned with project budget
• Negotiating with the suppliers regarding the long/short terms for the prices, delivery terms, shipping method and payment terms
• Organizing special shipments in case of urgency
• Monitoring the open orders for the suppliers in order to avoid any bottleneck (no delays)
• Discussing technical details with the application engineering team
• Supervising the relationship between supplier and application engineer for the product development
• Reporting OTTP/OTTR for suppliers
• Working in SAP for: Placing the orders, Orders shipment confirmation, Checking the prices to be aligned with the invoices from supplier, Checking the payment terms to be same as agreed with supplier, Checking the payment status for each invoice, Stock monitoring, Download weekly reports for open orders.
