Crina-Ioana Radulescu

Cardiologist - certification in transthoracic echocardiography, vascular ultrasound,

transesophageal echocardiography and special echocardiographic techniques (3D echo, stress echo

and contrast echo). One of my main fields of interest is transesophageal echocardiographic guidance

in structural cardiac interventions (transcatheter aortic valve implantation - TAVI, edge-to-edge mitral

valve repair using the MitraClip device, percutaneous ASD correction and implantation of Watchman

devices). I am also interested in multidisciplinary approach of cardiovascular disease, multimodality imaging and Heart Team decision making.

Between 2019-2022 I was part of the third Servier Advanced CardioVascular School, a career building and mentoring program under the guidance of Professor Panos Vardas, former president of the European Society of Cardiology.

In November 2019, I was proposed to be part of the Reviewing Committee of the cases submitted

under the Heart Failure Gallery of the European Society of Cardiology on the topics of acute and

chronic Heart Failure..
