1. Microchip Technology Romania I ensured the smooth development of the activity in the center, aiming to maximize the results of the employees under the conditions of maintaining an acceptable level of costs. But, first of all, I established the center's medium and long-term development strategy and ensured its implementation together with the management team.

The site has grown from 40 employees, up to 350 employees with the profile of Integrated Circuits analog and digital design and verification, layout, applications, CAD, OS & Software Tools development, validation, customer support and Sales/Sales support, having strong relation with most Romanian universities (Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara, Brasov, Alba Iulia, Constanta, Galati).

In this role I was in charge with:

• Company representation on the Romanian market (brand promotion, legal representative, academic relationship, partnership program, internal and external events coordination)
• Responsible for all commercial contracts negotiated to get the most effective solution with the best costs
• Create and implement site strategy aligned with corporate strategy; initiate and coordinate Site Development initiative to address the major development directions (Leadership Development, Driving Innovation and Total System Solutions).
• Prioritized and allocated valuable resources to meet business targets.
• Expand Microchip business in Romania-keep an open dialog to open new groups/Business Units in Romanian Centre
• Built synergies with the company's global sales or development centers to maximize business results. Organized periodic training with Sales team to update them about new developed products and solutions.

Technical coordination of the development of applications made with the company's products, 8- and 16-bit microcontrollers, memories and analog and mixed-signal applications

Technically coordination of the team to provide high quality C/C++ software communication solutions for last generation communication Processor platforms. Some of the major customers were Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola, Huawei, ZTE, Samsung, Alcatel, and many others. Software solutions included networking protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, PPP, MPLS) or wireless communication (GSM, EDGE, 3G) implementations.

• Built and implemented the strategy of the team: define team vision, it’s role aligned with the company objectives;

• development of the Quality Assurance procedures for internal processes; define and improve development workflow and IT processes.
• formalization of the IT service requirements and internal processes for “Customer Care” department and specify requirements for IT applications that assist them to provide professional services
• proposal and assistance in implementation of Business Intelligence solutions for marketing and upper management decision support: for Oracle Express, Data Warehouse applications and Oracle web applications.

• developer for national research projects mainly related to communication stack protocols implementation
• coordinator and member in European projects: ABS (Architecture for Information Brokerage Services) project; ABROSE (Agent based Brokerage Services in Electronic Commerce) project;
