In my current role, I communicate with drivers and transport managers to ensure smooth daily operations. (remove I) plan truck routes in accordance with transport legislation, selecting the most cost-effective and efficient route for each order. Before assigning a route, I check all relevant road restrictions, including weight and height limits, bridge restrictions, and other access limitations. I check that all transport documents are accurate and complete. I review loading plans to ensure the cargo is loaded correctly, the weight is properly distributed across the axles, the vehicle is not overloaded, and the load is secured according to safety regulations. Also also verify ADR requirements for dangerous goods when applicable. Additionally, I ensure that drivers comply with driving and rest time regulations, as well as all relevant transport legislation. (remove) also identify suitable fuel stations, truck service workshops, and secure parking areas along the route to support drivers during their journeys. My goal is to keep transport operations safe, efficient, and on schedule.

While I enjoy working in transport operations, I am looking for a role that offers more opportunities for growth and development. I would like to expand my responsibilities and develop into a Transport Manager. I am eager to learn transport planning, freight allocation, and fleet management, and to gain more experience in making operational decisions. I am motivated to continue developing both professionally and personally by taking on new challenges and increasing my knowledge of the transport and logistics industry.

Collaborated with customers and transport companies to organise domestic and international road transport, understanding clients' requirements to arrange suitable transport solutions. Negotiated rates with carriers and sold freight loads through freight exchange platforms. Coordinated shipments, monitored deliveries, resolved operational issues, and ensured accurate and timely completion of transport documentation while maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Changed jobs to gain operational experience in transport, focusing on route planning, transport legislation, and fleet coordination, leading to my current dispatcher role.
