Projects 2022-2025

  • ConSIMium. It's a simulation of the works of the European Council. As the elected acting President of Romania, I will participate in a European Council simulation, engaging in debates on pressing crises affecting European territories. I will be articulating Romania's position clearly and persuasively towards certain problems, navigating complex discussions to achieve consensus among diverse stakeholders, developing strategies to address urgent challenges effectively, working cohesively with international counterparts under pressure.
  • ERASMUS+CIVIS with Universite Libre de Bruxelles on European Institutional Law
  • Sports Arbitration International Moot. I am part of the team that represented the University in the General Pleading Round. While participating I acquired skills such as great communication, team management, working under stress and translating from different languages such as Spanish, French or Italian to Romanian and English. As well as knowledge in the field of sports law that has helped me throughout my participation in solving the case and in putting together the pleadings for both procedural parties.
  • Model United Nations Istanbul. As you navigate through intense sessions, negotiating resolutions and drafting policies, you realise that every discussion, every compromise, brings us one step closer to a better world. Participating in MUNs isn't just about honing your skills in diplomacy and public speaking; it's about forging connections that transcend borders. You find yourself befriending someone from a country you’ve never visited, learning about their culture, their perspectives, and their dreams.
  • Romanian Parliament-Students’ Commission. I took part in a project held at the Parliament concerning our involvement in the formation of the legal framework where I had the opportunity to express my view concerning the danger of drug abuse and how that can affect our society.
  • Training on Banking and Finance-loans, hedge currency and applicable law for the contracts. It was held during an International Conferences that lasted 4 days. During those, I got accustomed to the practices of international transactions, important elements of the contracts and ways of operation. The training was held by Dentons and NNDKP.
  • Ministry of Environment. I used my skills under the guidance of the Legal Methodology teacher, Mr. Diaconu, my project team built a bill regarding the abusive and illegal deforestation in our country, in which we included solutions to this problem, legal research and international regard on this problem. To bring a distinctive note to this project I personally reached out to the Environment MP to get his point of view about deforestation.
  • Legal Open Day. I took part recently in an open day held at Deloitte | Reff & Associates where I got accustomed to what big4 means and the possible career opportunities. I decided to see where I could fit best and where I wanted to practice later.

Conferences

  • National Anti-drug Agency. I participated in legal discussions with the National Anti-Drug Agency. We discussed problems that our country confronts regarding the black market of drugs and we also discussed the group that is highly vulnerable to drugs. We brainstormed different solutions that the Agency should try for the future to try and limit the fast expansion which characterises the market of drugs and we also made comparisons with other European countries with the objectives of trying and implementing in Romania their method as well.

  • Indian Embassy in Bucharest. I participated in diplomatic talks on the relations between Romania and two Asian countries about future projects in progress between the countries. These talks were held at the Embassy of South Korea and the Embassy of India. I had the opportunity to discuss with the two ambassadors on international matters and high-end problems that make the object of international concerns.

  • Europuls. Head of Policy and Programs at Europuls, talked about the various ways through which young people can actively engage in advocating for human rights. Her workshop titled "Advocating for human rights: strategies for effective campaigning" left us equipped with powerful tools and ideas to make a real impact
  • UNHCR. We were treated to an incredibly moving storytelling session titled "Bearing witness: Stories from conflict zones," featuring Angela Grămadă, ESGA President, and Joel Gallardo, UNHCR Associate Programme Officer. Mr. Gallardo shared his first-hand experiences from humanitarian crisis-affected regions, while Ms. Grămadă eloquently conveyed the profound impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the lives of the Ukrainian people.
  • .White Collar-Crime. Pursuing my growing interests in legal matters, I participated in a conference focused on White-Collar Crime and its involvement in our society, a subject that has gained regional attention recently. We explored various perspectives on this issue under the guidance of Mr. Adrian Hotca, Mr. Duvac, and other panel members. Our discussion encompassed new patterns of criminal activity in corporate law, taxation, and other areas.
