Supporting the Business Analysis phase - gathering, translating, and documenting business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for the development team.
Working with end-to-end business streams to understand data flows and establish data requirements, using XML/XSD-based message formats (FpML, FIX, JSON).
Assisting with logical data modelling, working across both business and IT teams.
Cleaning, mapping, and extending data sets to support process and tooling improvements.
Participating in end-to-end testing activities - noting that the team does not have dedicated testers, so BAs contribute directly to test execution and validation.
Supporting release preparation, including producing documentation and obtaining stakeholder signoffs.
Creating and maintaining business requirement documents, functional specifications, and interface documentation in Confluence.
Producing technical diagrams (data flow diagrams, interface maps) to support requirement walkthroughs and stakeholder communications.
Contributing to shared data platform initiatives by identifying common data requirements.
Creating new reconciliation processes and enhancing existing ones using the Duco platform.

Manage and lead the planning, development, and execution of manual and automated tests for interfaces, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Design, create, and maintain test strategies, test plans, reviews, and approvals for test plans and scripts.
Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, DevOps, architects, and cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.

Actively involved in Agile ceremonies, team demonstrations, system demonstrations, and knowledge sharing. Improve processes and procedures to increase the quality, and efficiency of software deliverables.

Manage the performance and development of quality assurance engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and onboarding for new joiners. Design, create, and maintain the QA automation framework in line with testing applications, and integrate it in a CI/CD Jenkins pipeline.

Key responsibilities and skills:

Extensive experience in functional validation of interfaces utilising SWIFT messages (e.g., MT527, MT558, MT569 for triparty interfaces like Euroclear, Clearstream, BNY Mellon, and JPMorgan; MT515, MT509, MT518 for FICC-related flows).
Hands-on expertise in validating functional flows for interfaces such as GLMX and Bloomberg SECFIN, based on FIX protocol messaging.
In-depth functional domain knowledge in Securities Finance, with a focus on Triparty Repo and Triparty Lending processes.
Strong technical skills in SQL querying and data analysis across multiple RDBMS platforms: Sybase, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, using command-line tools (grep, ls, awk, sed, etc.) for log investigation and environment navigation.
Ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot shell scripts used in automation tasks or data extraction operations.

Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Coach and support teams on Agile principles and practices to continuously improve performance. Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are clear, prioritized, and actionable. Track and communicate team progress, risks, and impediments to stakeholders

Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Drafts, revises, and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technical strategy; creates test files. Performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimise defects and failure rates. Collaborates with stakeholders on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented, and contributes to supplier quality improvement programmes. Implement and oversee the Quality Policy, including cohesive policies, strategic direction, processes, and decision rights.
Programs and technologies used: Jira, Silk, Confluence, Kubernetes, Lens, Kibana, and MobaXterm.
Tested areas: end-to-end testing on CRIF and FRTB, functional testing on Market Risk Limit, and Risk Management (hedge analyses, profit and loss, and risk transfer).
