Chief Engineer onboard of LNG carriers.

During the 17 years I worked for NYK Line I was part of the following construction works on LNG ships:

In 2008, I was part of the surveillance crew for new building LNG carrier Grace Cosmos in Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard.

I was part of the crew of the LNG ship as chief engineer during three Dry Docks repairs in the yards of Ferrol /Spain and Kepel /Singapore.

As NYK employee I was deployed to Gazocean company in Marseille to sail onboard of LNG carriers as Chief Engineer.

As Chief Engineer onboard of LNG Carriers I contributed to the development of standard operating procedures, creating consistent guidelines for engineering tasks onboard of LNG ships. I had good outcome in budget managing as well and schedule constrains.

Chief Engineer onboard of oil products carrier.

In 2005 for a period of 5 months I've been part of surveillance team on behalf of the owner for new building tanker oil products "Histria Perla", first new building ship for Histria fleet.

As part of my job I contributed to the development of specific operating procedures for the new type of vessel creating guidelines for new systems and equipment onboard of the new vessel.

Chief engineer onboard of sea going vessels

Vessel Manager for three bulkcarriers of 65.000 tdw.

I was part of the team that implemented the ISM Code on vessels management system.

I was the Project Manager for m/v "Baia de Aries" reconversion in Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries Shipyard 1998 - 2000.

I lead a team for projecting and surveillance of shipyard works for replacing the main engine and diesel generators for the m/v "Baia de Aries". After completing the jobs the vessel has been rebaptized "Sea Ace".
