From this role I'm responsible for leading a team who handles the final release process of the Alfresco Content Service product. This includes working with Program Management to plan & forecast releases and liaising with Delivery Teams to support early testing for the company products.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate release testing activities including planning & estimation of new releases. Work with Program Management to define the roadmap and agree release dates.
Based on the company delivery changes I'm creating test strategies and plans to define the test approach that will be taken
For a successful end-to-end testing process take decisions around how much automation vs manual is needed
Plan & monitor availability of the entire test environments and other technical test resources
Work with Delivery Teams to ensure tests are fit for purpose and available for use in release testing.
Monitor availability of the team members and adjust the team size accordingly
Coach the testing team members and identify training needs for the team
Continuously gathering feedbacks from the team members in order to improve our skills and our working environment
Create detailed test plan, test strategy and test cases based on the SRS provided by the Technical Analyst and Business Analyst.
Map business and technical requirements to low-level/high-level test cases.
Support during UAT phase working together with the Business units and collaborate with Software Engineering/Development as needed to solve problems and identify root cause of product defects.
Assist developers with debugging defects\Production tickets by reproducing them in the DW Test Environment.
Design, develop and maintain Business Process Testing components, flows and processes.
