Volunteering

As a volunteer at the Revival House Church Food Bank, my role was central to the efficient operation of the service. I was responsible for sorting incoming food parcels, checking expiry dates, and organising items for easy access. A key part of my role involved working directly with the public, assisting them in selecting their food parcels with respect and discretion. This experience was incredibly rewarding, teaching me the importance of logistics, teamwork, and clear, compassionate communication in a high-paced environment to ensure a vital community service ran smoothly and effectively.
