Responsibilities : Coordination of the product development teams (60+ people), driving new technology adoption and 3rd party technology providers. Member of the executive management team, budget owner for product development, technology partners and infrastructure

Achievements :

• Released 4 new major versions of the product line, added macOS support for AV,
• added new VPN product and new Small Office product;
• started migrating monolith backend to PaaS microservices (Microsoft Azure)
• Top scores for Windows product with AV-Test, AV - Comparatives, VB100
• Implemented automated testing framework - improved detection by 30% and decreased the wait time by 90%
• Increased own IP contribution in the product, including several patents, fostered internal innovation by organizing 4 hackathons.

Responsibilities : Lead the software development department (40 people), support for pre-sales and design of turn key solutions, budget owner (P&L).

Achievements : Implemented more than 10 projects for public and private sector clients [National Trade Register Office, BRD-GSG, ENEL, Unicredit Bank, Transgaz, Omniasig, Asirom] with €15m+revenue, created 3 new own software products generating more than €2m revenue, implemented new configuration management practices (application and server monitoring, SCM and continuous build tools) with effect on quality and release time cycle.

Client: National Health Insurance House (NHIH) [$100m+ project]

Responsibilities: Technical Project Management, validation of System Architecture Enhancements, team coordination (100+ people),

Subcontractors management (4 subcontractors), negotiation with partner contractor (HP) and customer (NHIH)

Achievements: Product readiness for UAT, adoption of new requirements management and testing tools - Compuware OptimalTrace/QACenter, Atlassian Jira; improved build time with 60%.

Acting as technical lead, developer or architect for several projects including - Romanian Air Force in partnership with Lockheed Martin (air traffic data processing - ICAO/OLDI data processor) - Romsys received the Lockheed Martin Star Supplier Award, National Securities Commission (market surveillance and fraud detection system), Petrom (smart card software authentication module), National Institute of Pneumology “Marius Nasta” - web based centralized management system
