Work History

GBV Officer

HIAS Romania
Bucharest
06.2024 - Current

Enhanced community outreach and built trust to map any potential shifts and ambiguous situations with the Ukrainian refugees. Collaborated with a MHPSS specialist to create and implement a series of workshops, designed specifically for Ukrainian women refugees, focusing on GBV education and awareness.

The workshops were structured to address the unique challenges faced by these women in times of crisis and war, particularly in the context of their displacement.

What was unique about the following series and received well by the Ukrainian beneficiaries was its tight link with MHPSS domain and the vital role of being aware that both MHPSS and GBV issues have a direct impact on successful integration in a new environment.
