Maya Naboulsi

Currently working for one of Cognizant's biggest clients. My responsibilities entail onboarding new data, adjusting previous developments and analysing existning bugs. Specifically, this requires ETL development in Informatica PowerCenter.

I am an ETL developer for one of Teamcubate's clients. My day-to-day activities include ensuring proper data loads for all clients, developing data flows for various accounting entities (data which is then used in Power BI reports), maintaining existing flows and ensuring a smooth load for each of them, all of this in Pentaho. Additionally, for specific purposes I develop SQL queries according to the client's needs, as well as integrating data from various new sources via API calls.

My responsibilities include:

- Understand various business requirements and implement them into technical solutions

- Develop new mappings as well as maintaining existing ones in Informatica Power Center and Informatica Data Quality for data reporting purposes

- Build APIs and call APIs built by other teams according to requirements

- Monitor deployment processes to different environments

- Support testing processes

- Maintain good communication across multinational teams

- Develop and maintain ETL scripts in Talend Data Integration, according to specification documents

- Extract data and load data from various data sources and to various data sources (Oracle Database, files with various extensions)

- Translate specification documents to technical solutions

- Prioritize tickets and update them accordingly

- Design and implement database for existing reports

- Handle deployment processes on all environments

- Maintain proper communication across multinational teams

- Taught myself the basics of various tools used: Talend Data Integration, SAP Bussines Objects suite, with a main focus on Talend

- Developed and maintained ETL scripts for data integration according to client specifications, handling data to and from various data sources

- Maintained reports in SAP Business Objects Webi according to client specifications

- Communicated constantly with the client contact in order to find the most appropriate solution for the clients' needs

- Prioritize tickets and update them accordingly

- Manually deployed scrips to test and production environments
