My contract involves a project which aims to migrate the existing core banking to Temenos (T24) Transact R24.
I am part of an agile squad where my role as a Senior Business Analyst (stream lead analyst) is to investigate and understand retail and corporate lending products setup in the existing core banking - with a strong focus on limits & collaterals - in order to:
• gather business requirements from business lines and offer recommendations
• identify gaps between (T24) Transact's out of the box functionality and the bank's needs
• analyse the impact of implementing the requested changes in the bank's applications, as well as any third party applications
• estimate analysis effort
• produce functional and non-functional specifications, as well as data migration matrixes with mapping logic, based on the identified business requirements by creating Epics and User Stories in Jira, together with documentation in Confluence, for APIs to be developed by the dev team, as well as product parametrization and local developments
• design and configure (T24) Transact screens (including new local fields), reports and menus that suit the bank's day to day activities with regards to Limits and Collateral creation, maintainance and reporting
• participate in design architecture discussions
• offer support and guidance to the migration team in building the migration logic for all types of Limits and Collaterals
• offer support and clarifications to dev team with regards to any queries
• identify testing scenarios and conduct testing in order to support the bank's UAT
• keep the documentation up-to-date throughout the project
• offer post-implementation support for any errors or issues that may occur because of the new changes
• work with a high standard within agreed timescales
• undertake any other tasks or duties that are reasonable and requested by the supervisor or a member of the management team

My contract involves a project which aims to develop new reports requested by business stakeholders from different departments (Risk, Accounting, etc), respectively update/amend existing reports.
I am part of an agile squad where my role as a Business Analyst is to:
• gather business requirements from business lines
• analyse these requirements and understand them
• once clarified, forward the requirements for technical analysis and development
• estimate analysis effort
• offer support and clarifications to both technical and dev team with regards to any queries
• keep the documentation up-to-date throughout the project
• offer post-implementation support for any errors or issues that may occur
• work with a high standard within agreed timescales
• undertake any other tasks or duties that are reasonable and requested by the supervisor or a member of the management team

• produce functional and non-functional specifications based on the identified business requirements by creating Epics and User Stories in Jira, together with documentation in Confluence, for APIs to be developed by the dev team

My contract involved a project which aimed to deliver an SME Lending digital origination solution for one of the local Romanian banks.

I was part of an agile squad where my role as a Business System Analyst was to:

• identify source systems / endpoints holding the data to be mapped for new and existing REST API payloads
• analyze the impact of implementing the requested changes in the bank's applications, as well as any third party applications
• estimate analysis effort
• produce functional and non-functional specifications for new and existing APIs by documenting in Confluence:

- BPMN diagram in Camunda, where applicable (such as customer journeys)

- sequence diagrams with all the endpoints involved and error handling scenarios

- mapping logic for the data part of the APIs payload

• create Epics and User Stories in Jira
• participate in design architecture discussions
• offer support and clarifications to dev team with regards to any queries
• offer support to testing team to identify testing scenarios and UAT criteria
• keep the documentation up-to-date throughout the project
• offer post-implementation support for any errors or issues that may occur because of the new changes

- BPMN diagram in Microsoft Visio, where applicable (such as more complex business flows)

• handing over Functional Solution to the development team, and validating technical solution proposed is in line with the solution
• configuration and development of model bank solutions
• preparing demonstration areas and conducting sessions for pre-sales and clients under the guidance of the Product Manager
• producing user and training documentation required for enhancements

• periodically reviewing user profiles and user access rights for all banking applications

• direct experience in migrating and adapting access rights from the old core banking system (INTBank) to T24

• making/receiving calls to/from bank’s employees in order to resolve in the best way (in conformity with the internal procedure) the problems they encounter in applications

• analyzing different customer situations and finding the best solution to resolve the their problems
• persuading the customer to pay his outstanding balance on the phone and registering the payment in the database
• in some cases, negotiating the amount a client could pay on the phone
• persuading the customer to reactivate his account after paying the outstanding balance and offering all the details about the new contract (the customer had to agree to the terms of service)
