• Act as Purchasing Representative in the project team from the acquisition phase up to Start of Production (SOP), and as interface to Commodity Management, Business Units (BUs) / R&D and Plants;
• Ensure that Purchasing and suppliers are involved early on in the process;
• Lead the process of sourcing new components, send Request for Quotation and analyze offers;
• Follow up on supplier and material status during the product development phase in order to ensure acquisition in time, and to avoid internal and customer production line stop situations;
• Control BoM (Bill of Material) cost;
• Design-to-cost activities during the product development phase;
• Cost Reduction Programs for BUs' products after SOP;
• Analyze future material needs of BUs';
• Provide purchasing support for technical changes up to SOP;
• Provide support on local purchasing topics for market analysis and localization efforts and visit potential suppliers.

• Manage the procurement activities from the start of a product’s life cycle by providing effective and strategic management of products and suppliers.
• Managing PCB, PCBA and Electro mechanical components Supplier Base.
• Propose a mid and long term supplier base sourcing strategy.
• Supplier Scouting.
• Managing RFQs.
• Negotiate SLA
• Working with material control, provide up to date forecasts to suppliers.
• Manage and develop supplier relationships; manage supply base with appropriate metrics and performance management (i.e. should cost analysis)
• Work closely with engineering and supplier quality in order to select suppliers and manage the supply risk to ensure ASN has competitive products and a secure supply chain.
• Mitigate the company’s exposure to risk associated with suppliers and ensure that internal stakeholders are aware of Terms & Conditions related to both suppliers and the company’s obligations.
• Proactively provide update to internal customers on procurement strategy, supplier strategy, and technology and market trends.
• Contribute to Make or Buy decisions and sourcing strategies.
