As a Software Engineering Manager I'm currently managing two Software Engineering Team Leads, which are responsible for the Customer Support Chat solution and the Customer Support CRM solution.

My main objectives are:

• Create an engineering culture by encouraging learning, collaboration, effective communication and a clear alignment between the engineering goals and the company's goals
• Oversee projects and timelines, identify risks and mitigation tactics in advance
• Coordinate with human resources on recruitment efforts to attract top talent in the software engineering field, contributing to a highly skilled and diverse team.
• Facilitate open lines of communication between engineering teams and other departments for seamless project handoffs and efficient collaboration on cross-functional initiatives.

As Software Engineering Team Lead, together with a team of 4 Software Engineers and 2 QAs, we successfully delivered the next generation of chat for customer support, among with critical integrations and business features, in more than 10 international markets. The chat is available on all platforms (web, android, iOS). Currently the product is stable and receives regular updates

For this time, my main objectives were:

• Provide technical leadership by identifying the critical components, main risks and overall development plan
• Improve working processes to ensure an increase in productivity and a good working environment
• Manage relations with Product Manager, Project Manager, Product Owner and external consultants
• Manage direct reports by creating a development plan for each of them, holding regular 1:1s, coaching and reviewing performance
• Create an engineering culture by enforcing strict code reviews and best practices

As an Automation Team Lead, I have

• Led a team of 5 developers
• Trained and mentored junior developers
• Added business value by enabling other teams in department to automate BackEnd, UI and Performance tests
• Created deployment pipelines and internal procedures that ensured successful deployments and high availability since then
• Held internal presentations on coding standards, coding paradigms, architecture review, technologies review

As a senior software engineer at Dell, I have

• Been chief engineer for CI/CD and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure DevOps and PCF)
• Mentored junior employees
• Held internal presentations on subjects such as C# 8.0, WebAssembly & Blazor (.NET), gRPC

As a software engineer at Cegeka, I worked on mobile applications for iOS and UWP using Xamarin and also on CI/CD and Cloud infrastructure using Azure DevOps

During my first job at ING Bank Romania, I worked as a back-end software engineer on server-side applications for handling payments using AKKA.NET among the .NET stack (ASP.NET, Dapper, MS SQL)
