• Follow the painting and coating activities in all its phases;
• Follow the field joint coating activities during engineering phases and during the operative phase of the project;
• Coordinate offshore field joint coating activities, including scheduling and logistics;
• Ensure that all coating activities are performed in accordance with the client's specifications and requirements;
• Liaise with project management, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and cooperation;
• Manage the storage, handling, and disposal of coating materials;
• Monitor coating application and curing conditions to ensure adherence to specifications;
• Troubleshoot any issues with coating equipment or application processes;
• Prepare reports on coating activities, production activity and provide input for project progress reporting;
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards;
• Provide support and guidance to offshore field joint coating supervisors and technicians;
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution;
• Review and endorsement of the received documents pertinent to the operational field joint coating works applicable to the work site;
• Supervision of the field joint coating works onboard the pipe lay vessel:

- Installation and setup of the field joint coating equipment;

- Performance of the field joint coating Pre-Production Test (PPT) ;

- Ensuring the maintenance of the field joint coating equipment;

- Ensuring that the field joint coating activities are carried out in accordance with the applicable field joint coating procedures and inspections and test plan, and , at the same time, aiming to optimize the work and cycle time;

- Organization of the pipe coating repair and concrete coating repair;

- Instruction of the other coordinated persons to use and maintain the field joint coating equipment and performance of the field joint coating repair activities in accordance with applicable project documents;

- Organization and coordination of the remedial actions and equipment repair activities in case of breakdown of the field joint coating equipment;

- Supervision of the field joint coating activities carried out by Subcontractors in accordance with the instructions received from the Project Team;

- Resolution of technical problems related to the field joint coating operations on the work site;

- Liaison between the Coating Engineering personnel in the office and the work site;

- Assistance to the QA/QC Representatives on the work site;

• Follow the operational field joint coating related activities on the work site during the execution phase of the project
• Provision of all logistic works required for functioning of the coating workshop and warehouse
• Responsible for maintenance and proper functioning of the FJC equipment
• Simulation and execution of FJC PQT (Pre-Qualification Tests)
• Follow the power tool cleaning, blast cleaning, induction heating of pipes and field joint coating areas
• Application of FJC materials: liquid epoxy, heat shrink sleeves, FBE, polypropylene, polyurethane - by manual, semi-automatic or full automatic equipment
• Repair of the factory applied coating and FJC applied coating
• Review of the received documents pertinent to the operational FJC works carried out
• Recording of the process parameters used during PQT and during R&D activities
• Preparation of the technical documents, specifications, procedures, inspection and test plans, progress reports, planning of the activities
• Marking and preparation of test samples for performance of the laboratory tests
• Performance of the inspections and tests of FJC in compliance with international standards
• Training of FJC Supervisors
