  • My main responsibilities are testing and developing the HVAC software for the automotive industry. I am also integrating automated diagnostic tests in CANoe (using CAPL language) to streamline testing of our diagnostic services in order to ensure that the ECU is behaving as expected, additionally doing Unit Testing using TESSY to validate the functionality and reliability of software components;
  • Another responsibility I have are solving and implementing software changes from issues that are reported by the team, Unit testing or Software Integration
  • Moreover, I work on writing Software Requirements, creating and updating the Software Detail Design documents in DOORS
  • When doing Software/System testing and Software Integration tests I used CANape, WinIdea Bluebox (where I created scripts in Python for automatizing Software Integration testing, for example a script that sets breakpoints on different conditions from the source code), Multi IDE GreenHills



CNC Programmer

  • I had to do a 'work study' in which we needed to study the geometry, define the fastest and most efficient CNC paths because each client wanted to make a certain amount of parts per year
  • We also needed to choose the right tools in order to achieve that specific number
  • The programming was either done on the CNC itself, if the part was easy, or in Fusion 360 for the complex ones.
