I am a 17-year-old young man, who is maturing as he grows. I am characterized by enthusiasm, I am a very sociable person and I like to build new relationships all the time, of friendship/collaboration, from friends, colleagues or even teachers. For the future I am aware of my responsibility to learn and I am curious and interested in discovering new information and perspectives. I focus on the important exams in my life, but I also develop my extracurricular passions (fishing, skiing, table tennis and cycling). I am working on improving my time management and organization skills. I also have time for activities with friends, and I like to participate in social events. I use technology a lot to learn and communicate.
As part of the National Community Action Strategy, I participated in the "Donated Fruit and Vegetable Week" campaign. Together with a few colleagues, we got involved in collecting, packaging and distributing fruits and vegetables that we obtained from a large base of donors (individuals, legal entities) to senior centers. It was a beautiful experience that made me become much more empathetic and make me want to continue participating in this type of actions.
I went to this 3-week camp with the aim of discovering American culture and customs, to exchange impressions with international students on a campus with them. In this camp I had the opportunity to know and explore some of the biggest tourist attractions in the world (Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, Beverly Hills, International Studios in California, all the beaches and many others). What was interesting was the direct interactions with the English, business and other teachers, and their unique way of teaching compared to what we have in the country. I can say that this experience marked and matured me, being my first time out of Europe.
In our high school magazine called "Goga Times", I wrote an article titled "L.A Adventure: Three weeks of campus life and city exploration." about my experience on an American campus and about my visit to the second largest university in California, namely UCLA. I was surprised that this article in the high school magazine was picked up by the local city newspaper, "Turnul Sfatului". I was even congratulated by my teachers.
I participated only in the preliminary stages of the project for sustainability and environmental care. I participated in the creation of a project called "Sustainable Cities" in a team and its presentation in front of a large audience. In addition to this, I had to carry out a questionnaire for which I questioned the citizens of Sibiu.
