Professional Background
I am a Computer Science student currently completing my second year and transitioning into my third, pursuing my degree in German. Having studied exclusively in the German language track since kindergarten through middle school and high school I have developed near-native fluency, which allowed me to successfully pass the DSD exam at a C1 level. My academic focus centers on building a strong foundation in application development, database design, and software engineering principles, with practical experience spanning hands-on software development, system operations, and automated workflows.
Recently, I completed a Software Development Internship focused on building and automating solutions using UiPath technology, where I developed hands-on experience in RPA workflows, automation design, and process optimization. This experience sharpened my code-review and collaboration skills using Git/GitHub, while also allowing me to complete foundational and advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) training.
During the 2025 Romanian Presidential Elections, I worked as an Electoral Computer Operator responsible for maintaining the data integrity and security of a local voting station. My primary duties included scanning voter identification to verify eligibility and protect the safety of the electoral vote against fraud. To ensure absolute transparency, I managed the mandatory filming of the entire vote-counting process. Additionally, I provided real-time technical support, quickly diagnosing hardware or software malfunctions and reporting systemic issues to centralized support to keep the voting process seamless and secure.
On the development side, I built a Library Management Application (https://github.com/vladtotelecan/Own-project-library.git) designed to efficiently catalog and track book inventories, author profiles, and borrowing histories. Through this project, I designed complex relational database structures, implemented full CRUD functionalities for administrators, and applied clean architecture principles to ensure a scalable, highly maintainable codebase. I am eager to leverage this blend of academic knowledge, internship experience, and operational precision in my next role.
