• Bachelor's Thesis: Age Estimation from Facial Images Using Machine Learning Algorithms
  Age estimation using the UTKFace dataset involved testing several machine learning algorithms, including custom CNN architectures and pre-trained models like VGG16, ResNet152, and Xception. Key techniques included grid search for hyperparameter tuning, data augmentation for balancing, and extensive experimentation with CNN layers. TensorFlow and Keras were used on Kaggle’s GPU platform. The models achieved an MAE of 7.6 years for regression and 78% accuracy for multi-class classification.
