As an award-winning Engineer for Team Neves of Petru Rares National College, I led a pioneering project for the NSS Space Settlement Contest. My designs of interplanetary systems, separate modules and contributions to a life-sustaining spaceship earned a Gold Medal, highlighting my drive and innovative approach to space habitation solutions. Furthermore, the title of Valedictorian alongside the numerous awards achieved throughout high-school underline my exceptional ambition and dedication, that will surely be present during the HPB.
The National Space Society (NSS) Space Settlement Contest is an international competition that encourages students to envision and design future space habitats and settlements. Participants must provide detailed descriptions, technical details and scientific explanations. Proposals should be based on thorough research and innovative thinking.
Me and my team of 11 members designed a spaceship situated in the Sun-Jupiter Lagrangian point L1 and four other different modules spread throughout the solar system, able to sustain life autonomously for up to 10,000 people.
