Mathematician and former researcher with 18 years of experience, I dedicated myself since younger years to a scientific endeavour. Mathematics is the language of nature (Galileo Galilei), and that’s why I have chosen maths both as a profession and a passion. Always eager to learn, I combine knowledge from different areas, like programming and physics. I firmly believe in the supremacy of science, and truth and honesty are my top values.

  • 2019, On the Inverse Sonification Problem, Romanian Journal of Technical Sciences-Applied Mechanics, vol64, co-author, The inverse sonification problem is discussed in this paper in order to identify new features in its capability to discover hidden details in the medical images. In contrast to the direct problem of sonification that convert the data points into audio samples, the inverse problem is turning back the sound representation into images in order to obtain clarity, good contrast and low noise.   • 2018, On the differential Dynamic Logic Model for Hybrid Systems, Acta Technica Napocensis, Series: Applied Mathematics, Mechanics, and Engineering , vol 61, co-author, The contribution of this paper consists in advancing of a control strategy based on the differential dynamic logic (dL) for a cooperative surgeon-robot system whose behavior depends on the interaction between discrete dynamics deriving from the control and continuous dynamics deriving from surgical instrument moving. Such systems are called hybrid systems. The dL algorithm captures the logics of superposition of both dynamics and is capable to control the system in the most natural way.   • 2018, The sonification approach to capture hardly detectable details in medical images, Romanian Journal of Mechanics, co-author, The original contribution of this paper consists in application of the sonification technique in capturing the hardly detectable details in medical images. Sonification theory translates data of the image points into acoustic signals. By reversing back, the sound samples into new images, the hidden details of the old images can be discovered. The sound is capable to discover what the eyes do not see. In contrast to sonoelastic theory which is limited to low examination frequencies imposed by the high attenuation of acoustic waves, the sonification theory is extending the range of frequencies to areas of interest.   • 2015, A Dynamic System Governed by Sommerfeld Effect, UPB Scientific Bulletin, Series D, Vol 77, co-author, The behaviour of a dynamic system governed by Sommerfeld effect is studied in this paper. We refer to a small building equipped with an electromechanical vibration absorber subjected to harmonic excitation with time dependent frequencies and random vibrations, respectively. This structure is a non-ideal system which acts like an energy sink for which a part of the source energy is spend to deform the system rather than increasing the drive speed.   • 2014, The Influence of Atmospheric Phenomena on Human Health, Romanian Statistical Review, Series B, vol 10, Author, In this article we try to determine whether there is a relation between the quantity of atmospheric methane and the number of diseases of circulatory system, at the level of the whole country. We first analyse the time series of the quantity of pollutant between 1990 and 2008 and then we predict the values for the years 2009-2012.
