At Picsart, a global AI-powered creative platform with 150M+ monthly active users, I lead cross-functional engineering teams in building and scaling innovative products that enhance user engagement and platform growth.
Key initiatives:

• Built Picsart Spaces, a social community feature designed to connect users around shared interests and creative passions. Successfully expanded the platform to 1 million users collaborating across 8,000 spaces. These digital communities allow members to browse, post, like, comment on and remix content, transforming Picsart from a design tool into a social platform
• Led the development of an improved version of Picsart's Batch Editor, a bulk editing tool that enables users to apply AI image enhancing, background removal, AI-powered background generation, croping, resizing and watermarking to multiple photos at once. Achieved a significant increase in revenue, user retention and conversion rate
• Enabling Ads production at scale for businesses through AI with AI Ad Maker for Professional Marketers
• Drove the transformation of Picsart’s internal CMS and CRM platforms, responsible for user and content management processes such as ingestion, curation and moderation, navigating the team through critical organizational and technological shifts

As the Engineering Manager for the API Gateway team, I led a highly skilled, cross-functional team in building and maintaining Adobe’s in-house API Gateway, the core of our API Platform solution.

• Built on top of nginx/OpenResty, our API Gateway operated in a multi-cloud environment across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and low latency
• Serving as the backbone of Adobe’s cloud services, it provided secure, scalable and high-performance API access for both internal and external clients, powering Adobe’s ecosystem of cloud products
• Scaled the API Gateway to support over 1,500 Adobe microservices, handling 40 billion daily API calls across all major AWS and Azure regions while ensuring a 99.99% SLO

Led the development of the Control Plane component for Adobe I/O API Platform, utilising a robust Java technology stack (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate) for backend services, Angular and Bootstrap for the web layer and AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, SQS/SNS, S3, ElastiCache).

Developed internal solutions for Adobe’s IT department using Java-based technologies and open source tools (Spring, Maven, Apache Felix, OSGi, Jenkins).
Key projects included a dashboard streamlining workflows for Customer Support agents by reducing dependency on SAP tools and a middleware connector facilitating data synchronisation between external SaaS solutions (Salesforce, Informatica and AtTask).

Contributed as a full-stack developer to AeL, the flagship solution of SIVECO’s eLearning Platform, leveraging top Java ecosystem technologies including J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM, EJB, JBoss and Maven.
